Chasing Fall
Last weekend I set out on a mission. A mission to find Fall.
Living in the desert climate of Phoenix, Fall colors are rarely seen and something I miss from living in the Pacific Northwest. We typically transition from the extreme heat of summer, straight into winter, leaving really no room for Fall.
As I started my quest, a series of events encountered throughout the day, caused me to pause and question whether I was meant to find Fall. Bound and determined though, I grabbed my camera backpack and jumped in my SUV and headed north to Flagstaff.
Exploring around the San Francisco Peaks, it didn’t take long to find the colors of Fall.
Not fully satisfied, a hike into the inner basin, yielded more color while the beauty of a snow topped peak reviled itself..
My path to the inner basin, took me through a large expanse of beuatiful aspen trees. This scene caught my attention, and screamed “take my picture” so I did.
